ASTM A252 Gr.2 is a structural steel grade specifically designed for piling applications, offering a minimum yield strength of approximately 345 MPa and tensile strength typically ranging from about 415 to 620 MPa. Its chemical composition allows relatively flexible carbon and manganese levels, ensuring adequate strength while maintaining good weldability for large-diameter pipes.
