Green & Low‑Carbon Strategy
Clean Transportation for Employees and Logistics
Huayang is actively promoting a clean transition in the transportation sector. We provide subsidies for employees to switch from fuel to electric vehicles and have built an internal EV charging network across our office and factory areas.
- Over 45% of commuting vehicles are now electric, with a target of over 60% by the end of 2025.
- Each EV reduces emissions by approximately 1.2 tons of CO₂ annually.
- New energy trucks are also introduced for factory logistics and short-distance deliveries, helping lower carbon emissions across our operations.

Carbon Sinks Through Green Landscaping
Every year, Huayang invests 3 million RMB in ecological projects as part of our "1,000-Mu Green Initiative." We use a combination of trees, shrubs, and grasses to build layered green zones across the factory and surrounding areas.
- Annual carbon sink capacity is estimated to reach 800 tons of CO₂.
- A digital green management system enables full lifecycle monitoring of plant growth and carbon capture.
- Employees also participate in annual tree-planting activities, building a culture of environmental responsibility.
Smart Dust Control in Production
We've implemented AI-based dust monitoring systems to control airborne particles in real time. Water-spraying operations are automatically adjusted based on sensor data.
- Circular water systems are in place, reducing water usage by 30%.
- Our smart systems reduce PM10 emissions by approximately 120 tons per year, improving air quality within a 3-kilometer radius around the plant.

Carbon Footprint Tracking and Disclosure
We are committed to full-chain carbon footprint management, covering production, logistics, and product usage.
A digital tracking system offers visual carbon footprint data and customized reports for clients.
We hold certified carbon footprint documentation and support customers in their low-carbon procurement goals.
Our target is to achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2030 and full supply chain neutrality by 2040.
