API 5L X60 PSL2 Material Performance
API 5L Grade B PSL1 has a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, providing a balanced combination of strength, ductility, and weldability for conventional pipeline service. The grade is commonly used in oil and gas gathering lines, fuel transportation, and industrial pipeline networks where PSL1 requirements are appropriate. Huayang DN150 ERW pipe is produced through controlled forming and high-frequency electric resistance welding, with close attention to weld integrity, outside diameter, straightness, and wall thickness. Quality control can include hydrostatic pressure testing, ultrasonic or other weld inspection, tensile testing, flattening testing, dimensional verification, and chemical composition analysis according to the applicable specification. For buried oil and gas pipelines, FBE, 2PE, and 3PE external coatings can be supplied to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life under soil and moisture exposure.

Pipe Protection
Pipe-end protection is advisable in case the pipe-ends are bevelled at the pipe manufacturer. In the case of overseas transport, there is an especially increased risk of damaged pipe-ends. This is caused by extra handling procedures in ports and shifting of the pipes onboard vessels.
