Huayang 114.3 mm API 5L ERW line pipes are produced using advanced high-frequency electric resistance welding with automatic weld heat treatment and continuous online inspection, ensuring excellent seam integrity and dimensional consistency. Available in API 5L Grade B, X42, and X52 with PSL1 or PSL2 requirements, these materials offer minimum yield strengths of 245 MPa, 290 MPa, and 359 MPa, respectively, while PSL2 includes stricter controls on chemical composition, Charpy impact toughness, and non-destructive testing. The 114.3 mm diameter is widely used in oil gathering lines, natural gas transmission, refinery process piping, and energy infrastructure. Every Huayang pipe is subjected to hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic weld inspection, eddy current examination, tensile testing, and dimensional verification to ensure full compliance with API 5L specifications and long-term operational reliability.

Pipe Protection
Pipe-end protection is advisable in case the pipe-ends are bevelled at the pipe manufacturer. In the case of overseas transport, there is an especially increased risk of damaged pipe-ends. This is caused by extra handling procedures in ports and shifting of the pipes onboard vessels.
In addition to end caps or protective rings, external wrapping with protective cloth can be applied along the pipe body. This wrapping helps to safeguard the coating surface from scratches, moisture, and contamination during long-distance transportation or prolonged outdoor storage. Especially for coated or painted pipes, the additional protective cloth layer significantly reduces the risk of mechanical damage, UV exposure, and corrosion initiation, ensuring the pipes arrive at the destination in optimal condition.
