P235GH Material Performance
P235GH is a non-alloy pressure steel grade with material number 1.0345, specified for elevated-temperature service. For nominal thickness up to 16 mm, the minimum yield strength is 235 MPa, while tensile strength is specified at 360–480 MPa. The grade also provides controlled impact toughness requirements for pressure-service applications. P235GH is used for boilers, heat exchangers and other pressure equipment where stable mechanical properties at elevated temperatures are required. Huayang manufactures LSAW steel pipe through controlled plate forming and double-sided submerged arc welding, with dimensional, weld and hydrostatic testing available according to applicable EN 10217-5 and project requirements.

Pipe Protection
Pipe-end protection is advisable in case the pipe-ends are bevelled at the pipe manufacturer. In the case of overseas transport, there is an especially increased risk of damaged pipe-ends. This is caused by extra handling procedures in ports and shifting of the pipes onboard vessels.
In addition to end caps or protective rings, external wrapping with protective cloth can be applied along the pipe body. This wrapping helps to safeguard the coating surface from scratches, moisture, and contamination during long-distance transportation or prolonged outdoor storage. Especially for coated or painted pipes, the additional protective cloth layer significantly reduces the risk of mechanical damage, UV exposure, and corrosion initiation, ensuring the pipes arrive at the destination in optimal condition.
