L245 is a low-carbon pipeline steel with a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa and tensile strength typically between 415–560 MPa. The carbon content is generally ≤0.20%, with controlled manganese content to improve strength while maintaining good weldability. Its balanced composition makes it suitable for fluid pipelines handling refined oil, chemical intermediates, and process water under moderate pressure.
